SL-Irrigation introduces its latest innovation: PRIZIUS, a communicating irrigation outlet equipped with an ultrasonic metering system that can be connected to all hydrants on the market.

This unit combines metering, pressure regulation and flow limitation functions within a single system.

High-performance metering

The ground-breaking feature of the PRIZIUS irrigation outlet is its ultrasonic metering system, which sets it apart from traditional mechanical meters. The flow rate is measured directly in the central water vein, without any bypass.

This technology, which is resistant to contaminated raw water, provides optimal accuracy in measuring actual consumption across a wide range of flow rates.

Remote monitoring of consumption levels

The meter, which is equipped with ultrasonic metering technology, natively supports three communication protocols for radio or remote meter reading over the LoRa and Sigfox networks. This comprehensive solution has the following capabilities:

It can continuously monitor water consumption volumes through remote meter reading, or keep a logging record of historical consumption volumes via radio meter reading;

It can monitor alarms on a daily basis (data is uploaded every 24 hours);

It can centralise data by integrating it directly into a management system.

An innovative system that is easy to use in everyday situations

Built from highly durable composite materials, PRIZIUS combines all the essential functions in a single compact, lightweight and modular unit. The PRIZIUS system is 25% lighter, thereby greatly simplifying installation and reducing the physical strain on technicians. The meter’s protective cage also makes the device easier to handle and work with, whilst ensuring it can withstand even the highest pressures in the network.

In the field, routine maintenance and adjustments now take no time at all and are straightforward:

The regulating cartridge can be replaced directly on site;

The calibration and pressure variations are adjusted to suit the irrigation system downstream of the hydrant.

Instant network pressure diagnostics: this is carried out very quickly without any interruption to service, thanks to a connection point located directly on the pipe to which you can connect your pressure gauge.

In terms of security, PRIZIUS features advanced protection against fraud attempts and unwanted tampering. To ensure that the volumes and flow rates allocated to each irrigator are adhered to, the device is fitted with coloured plastic seals on the pressure outlet and the flow limiter. These visual indicators immediately signal even the slightest attempt to alter the settings, thereby offering complete peace of mind to the managers responsible for monitoring the network.

A universal solution

PRIZIUS is natively compatible with the A1, A4 and B2 bodies from the SL-Irrigation range, and can be adapted to all hydrants on the market using an adapter part, including BIR and ADM bodies.
