OmegaFlex is an electrowelded pipe clamp designed and built by Sainte-Lizaigne, the Group’s drinking water connection specialists.

This innovative multi-diameter pipe clamp offers logistics gains and responsiveness on-site. It’s easy and simple to install.

When coupled with a bronze Sainte-Lizaigne tap fitting, it forms a hybrid connection that allows the monitoring of PE pipe networks in the context of water stewardship.

More responsive, better-organised site interventions

OmegaFlex is the only electrowelded clamp on the market that can adapt to a wide range of diameters. Its patented flexibility covers 3 - 6 PE pipe dimensions, depending on the model. Just 5 different sizes cover the full range of applications (short, long boss, from Ø 63 to 315 mm and beyond). We always have a good amount of stock if urgent intervention is required. With a short boss, the overlapping of fittings according to article minimises the risk of error when preparing the supplies for on-site delivery.

OmegaFlex offers gains at every step of the supply process, from procurement through to the pipe installation. Only a limited number of parts need to be ordered. The weight is low and dimensions are compact. Transport and storage space have been optimised.

Easier to install an electrowelded connection

The OmegaFlex collar has a unique attachment system across the whole of the range. A sliding toothed belt and ratchets allow the clamp to be positioned around the pipe. A special tool is used to secure the assembly on the pipe. It’s quick to install: there are no screws or bolts to tighten before the connection is welded. The clamp is compatible with all welding machines currently on the market. The bar code reader is used to start the necessary warm-up time. After the connecting valve has been fitted, the connection can be adjusted to adapt to the ground conditions. OmegaFlex can be used equally well for new pipe installations or renewals, and installed under vacuum conditions or under pressure.

The electrowelded clamp has a metric threaded boss (40 x 300 or 55 x 300) designed to hold a GLOBALL 2038-type connecting valve. This forms a hybrid connection, which meets the need for a fast supply of PE connections, and holds tap fittings which are reliable and tested for durability on the water network (4 MS bronze). Once installed, the connection will be monitored, like any metallic connection. It's a key point on the network that facilitates the detection of leaks.
