Irrigation represents almost 50% of water consumption. That percentage can rise as high as 90% in summer, when the weather conditions and crop growth can make some plants particularly thirsty for water. Summer is when the strain on the water resource is at its peak. Consequently, irrigation is essential for many farmers, due to the ever-increasing crop sizes and the need for a good harvest. SL-Irrigation, Claire Group’s irrigation specialist, helps farmers put in place a reliable irrigation system and then regulate and control it so that each plot of land gets just the right amount of water, with no wastage.
