The problem of drinking water

Just 2.8% of the 72% of water on the Earth’s surface is fresh water.

It’s this same fresh water that is purified to become the drinking water consumed by each person in France at a rate of 146 litres every day. On our blue planet, water fit for human consumption isn’t as plentiful as we might like to think.

To prevent strain on our water supply, we need to ration the use of this resource and limit the amount of water wasted. As more than 21% of our drinking water is lost through leakage, our preventive action needs to start at the heart of the distribution circuit: the drinking water network.

Claire Group has been working for more than 180 years alongside network operators, to achieve its mission: to build reliable networks from robust materials, then monitor, inspect and analyse their condition to prevent water loss and preserve this vital resource.
